  The Portico team are on target to raise £50,000 to cover the lifetime training and care costs for a guide dog through the incredible journey from six-week-old bundle of fur to fully-qualified service dog.   Aptly name the ‘Portico Puppy’, our 650-strong team have raised an astonishing £40,000 by donating their personal time and dedicating their individual talents by taking part in events, from cake bakes to bike rides and mountain hikes to sky dives, all raising money for our ‘Puppy pot’.   Every hour someone in the UK goes blind and we are proud to support the efforts of Guide Dogs For The Blind, transforming the life of blind or partially sighted people.   In 2016, we are taking our partnership to a next level by transferring knowledge and embedding disability awareness through our Training and Development programmes. This, we believe, supports the integration of diversity through our business and equips our people with important skills to better serve our clients and our guests.
