Kindness

We see our commitment to giving back as a moral and social responsibility

We have a long-established focus group called Giving Back and many of our employees support local good causes in their spare time.

Giving Back focuses on three areas where it can give back to the community through different focus points, namely; voluntary work, social mobility and fundraising. Creating life-changing success stories, we have worked with a plethora of worthy organisations over the past decade.

VETERANS WITH DOGS

In January 2019, we launched a partnership with Veterans with Dogs. Our commitment is to raise £30,000 to fully fund a PALS Programme.

Veterans with Dogs are passionate and dedicated to supporting our British Armed Forces and military heroes, who may be suffering from mental health conditions such as PTSD.

Veterans with dogs help to train service dogs, which in turn help our heroes by providing both psychological and physical support. Through shining a light on mental illness and raising awareness about the benefits of service dogs, this charity has helped thousands of individuals.

Our partnership with Career Transition Partnership & White Ensign Association

In 2019 we partnered with the Career Transition Partnership & White Ensign Association, two not for profit organisations established to assist ex-service people to settle back into civilian life.

Our partnership has already seen positive results with a handful of successful placements within our business.  But this is just one, of many examples, of our commitment to supporting social mobility at Portico.

Crisis

Last Christmas we donated to help support Crisis at Christmas.

Their work is only made possible through the collective effort and generosity of communities across Britain that donate the vital resources needed to support and inspire those facing homelessness.

A 10k run in 35 degree heat, Christmas tree deliveries, suit donations, coffee mornings, 100 mile walks, street collections, Tough Mudders, and even shaving off our hair.

Our dedicated Giving Back team and Portico people will do anything for charity.
