OUR FAMILY IS MADE UP OF ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE

At Portico we’re committed to treating everyone equally to ensure we all have the same opportunities to grow, develop and progress our careers. We treat each other with respect, speak to one another as we’d wish to be spoken to and take the time to listen and support.

We want to bring the best talent into our business, regardless of social background, age, gender or race. We practice equal prospects, fair pay and transparent recruitment processes to give our people the resources they need to thrive within Portico.

PORTICO BECOMES A MEMBER OF THE BUSINESS DISABILITY FORUM

We don’t just want to talk about diversity and inclusion, we want to show just how important it is to us. That’s why we recently became members of the BDF, a not-for-profit organisation that works to provide opportunities for disabled employees.

As the first Front of House Services Company to become a BDF member, we’re determined to remove as many obstacles as we can from the path of those with disabilities. To do this, we’re continually looking at how to improve our recruitment process, our employee training and our wider community so that everyone at Portico has what they need to progress.

Our stats

Our people surveys and forums provide us with valuable insights into how our people feel about diversity and inclusion at Portico.

Our latest survey recorded that 96% agree that we treat everyone equally regardless of their gender, race or sexual orientation. 80% also confirmed that diversity and inclusion is absolutely one of our stated values and priority areas.

It’s also worthy of a mention that Portico is in the top 9% of UK companies that do not report a gender pay gap. This means that both men and women in Portico are paid the same and there is no discrimination in gender within our business. We can also share that over 80% of leadership positions at Portico are filled by women.
