We all need to say ‘thank you’ from time to time, and recognise when our people are working hard to deliver an outstanding service, whether dealing directly with guests, clients, colleagues or service partners.   We value our people who strive to go above and beyond to naturally create exceptional guest experiences, and that’s why we are committed to rewarding success through our recognition initiatives and programmes.  Here we share just two examples:   ‘Thank You’    Our impromptu ‘Thank You’ Scheme, now in its 10th year, is just one of the many initiatives we use to recognise achievements.   When our Team Leaders, Supervisors or Managers at Portico recognise that someone has gone above and beyond their day-to-day work expectations, they can complete a ‘thank you’ postcard. It will reward our recognised people with a gift voucher ranging from £10 to £50, and provide an opportunity for us to thank them for inspiring others with the way that they work.   Celebrating our Stars   This year, on Friday the 8th November, we’ll be celebrating all of our amazing people at the most exciting and magical event in the Portico calendar, the Portico People Awards. This will be our 15th Awards ceremony and we are going bigger and better than before, with a brand new Portico Award ‘The Memorable Experience Award’.   We are celebrating that our people are consistently displaying a proven commitment to driving excellence and ensuring the most successful relationship with our customers and clients. The memorable experience stories from throughout the year will be collated, with one winner to be announced on the evening.
