Portico Step-Up for Mencap

  On Sunday 17th July, 10 keen Portico team members embarked on the a vertical dash of over 1600 stairs from street level to the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street, Europe’s highest roof garden.   With completing this challenge the Portico team raised over £1,500 to support the charitable efforts of Mencap.   Mencap envisions a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice, opportunity and respect. Support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving this vision. Portico is very proud of contributing to their cause and of the effort of our runners, who celebrated with a well-deserved glass of champagne above the City skyline.
