Portico receives Accreditation from the Living Wage Foundation

We are incredibly delighted to share that Portico has been accredited as a Living Wage Employer. This means that every Portico team member is paid the Real Living Wage, which exceeds the National Minimum Wage. The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, based on the cost of living in the UK.

Katherine Chapman, Director of the Living Wage Foundation says: “We’re delighted that Portico has joined the movement of over 12,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on. The Living Wage Foundation receives guidance and advice from the Living Wage Advisory Council. The Foundation is supported by our principal partners: Aviva; IKEA; Joseph Rowntree Foundation; KPMG; Linklaters; Nationwide; Nestle; Resolution Foundation; Oxfam; Trust for London; People’s Health Trust; and Queen Mary University of London.

Portico MD Paul Jackson shares: "We are incredibly proud to be accredited as a Living Wage Employer. Our team are at the heart of what we do, and joining this important movement matters more than ever. Furthermore, we are thrilled to share that all Portico team members now have access to enhanced health and wellbeing services. These services include annual health checks, digital GP consultations, and nutritional and mental health consultations. We strongly encourage every team member to take advantage of the cycle-to-work scheme, and we are pleased to offer ongoing gym membership discounts and benefits. We firmly believe that a supported and thriving team is the key to success, and we will continue to advocate wellbeing and growth of our remarkable team."

We are also encouraging Portico people to take up the paid charity day, to help them support causes close to their hearts. This complements a comprehensive free programme of learning and development, with the courses centred not just on professional skills but also on personal development.
