Our family is made up of many different people. We embrace diversity and believe in treating everyone equally to ensure that everyone has the same opportunities to grow, develop and progress in their careers.

Portico is currently recruiting for a hands-on Office Coordinator (Senior Community Housekeeper) to join our team at the London offices of a world renown bank.

The Senior Community Housekeeper is a unique role, focused on the presentation of the office, and has a huge part to play in helping our team to deliver an exceptional customer experience for all internal and external customers visiting the corporate facilities, ensuring that all areas are set up to the highest standard.

This includes resetting meeting rooms, restocking pantries and stationery hubs and keeping noticeboards up to date. Whilst this is a very hands-on role, the Senior Community Housekeeper will need to balance their operational duties with enhanced line management duties. They will: -

  • Provide direct line management of the two part-time housekeepers with the help of the Community Manager (i.e. payroll, scheduling, HR, recruitment, onboarding and training).
  • Monitor standards, complete spot checks and provide feedback/ further training to Housekeepers as required.
  • Co-ordinate resources, allocating the Housekeepers to areas as needed, managing leave requests, and creating rotas which reflect the needs of the business.
  • Build partnerships with the cleaning and engineering suppliers through regular communication and meetings.
  • Work closely with the Community Hosts to deliver impeccable, fit for purpose spaces for our clients.
  • Be a friendly, helpful and familiar face for clients using the office.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 12pm-9pm, from Mon-Fri.
Salary: £35,000
