Portico are now on the lookout for a new Assistant Reception Services Manager to join our high-performing team based at an international investment bank in the heart of the City.
The Assistant Reception Services Manager will work alongside the Reception Services Manager to oversee one of the largest teams in Portico. This exciting role is comprised of a mix of people management, operational management and client management.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the reception services provided on site. Managing, motiving and developing team members, so that they consistently meet high service standards and exceed client expectations wherever possible. They will provide in the moment coaching to the Team Leaders and work on development plans to enable the continuous growth of their skillset.
The Assistant Reception Services Manager will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, working on projects, solving problems and remaining a proud ambassador for both the bank and Portico.
Finally, they will work alongside the Reception Services Manager and our client’s team to innovate the facilities and services provided, updating any processes or procedures where possible. Ultimately, they will ensure that we are always adding value and remain trailblazers in the corporate customer service industry!
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts between 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri
Salary: £54,000
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team of at least 40 people, preferably within a high-end reception environment.
They will have experience of corporate reception services and be familiar with room reservations operations.
Experience with audio visual services and knowledge of health and safety legislation is desirable.
The successful candidate will be reliable, flexible and sincere. They must have excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with a range of people at different levels of a business.
They will have high levels of personal presentation, a good eye for detail and a desire to take ownership, through to resolution, for issues and concerns generated by our customers.
