Creating Opportunities through Growth

Growing our business during the pandemic was not something we thought possible when lockdown hit us in March.  How wrong we were.

  It was such a pleasure to work on so many potential new opportunities in the spring and summer months.  As we now enter the autumn, we have welcomed five new clients into the Portico family and have three more mobilisations in action ready for a winter launch.   Our new clients are a wonderfully mixed bunch of commercial properties, professional services firms, banking and wealth management experts.   We have always been very confident in our ability to manage very complex mobilisations and now we can add mobilising through a global pandemic to our list!  It’s definitely a first for us to manage a TUPE transfer or brand-new launch via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.  

The real benefit to our growth is the opportunities it has provided for our Portico people.  The pandemic has meant that we, like so many others, have been reviewing structures to 'right-size' teams to reflect the change in demand.  It’s therefore heartening that all of our vacancies were filled by Portico people who were at risk of redundancy.
