We are thrilled to announce that two brilliant front-of-house professionals from Portico, Jamie Alves and Laura Marie Bruce, have been shortlisted for the prestigious CROTY (Corporate Receptionist of the Year) award. This award recognizes the outstanding contribution and hard work of receptionists in the corporate world, who frequently go above and beyond their job description to ensure that visitors and clients receive an exceptional experience.
Jamie Alves, who works at Deutsche Bank, and believes in proactively interacting with customers to establish a personal connection and foster good relationships. His positive attitude and commitment to customer service have made a lasting impression on those who have interacted with him.
Laura-Marie, who works at PWC, takes pride in being the first point of contact for clients and strives to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who enters the building.
Her dedication to her job and professionalism have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients.
On 24th April 2023, Jamie and Laura-Marie will attend the finalists' interviews, where they will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and experience to the judges. The winners will be announced on International Receptionists' Day on 10th May 2023, at the Awards Event.
The finalists have already shown great commitment to their roles, and we wish them the very best of luck in the competition. The winners will receive a trip to New York, which will take place in late summer or early autumn 2023. We cannot wait to see the outcome and are very proud to have such talented receptionists on our team.
