We don’t just want to talk about diversity and inclusion, we want to show just how important it is to us. That’s why we are government recognised as ‘Disability Confident’ employers, a movement of change, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people.

We’re determined to remove as many obstacles as we can from the path of those with disabilities. To do this, we’re continually looking at how to improve our recruitment process, our employee training and our wider community so that everyone at Portico has what they need to progress.

Our people surveys and forums provide us with valuable insights into how our people feel about diversity and inclusion at Portico.

Our latest survey recorded that 96% agree that we treat everyone equally regardless of their gender, race or sexual orientation. 80% also confirmed that diversity and inclusion is absolutely one of our stated values and priority areas.

It’s also worthy of a mention that Portico is in the top 9% of UK companies that do not report a gender pay gap. This means that both men and women in Portico are paid the same and there is no discrimination in gender within our business. We can also share that over 80% of leadership positions at Portico are filled by women.
