Our family is made up of many different people. We embrace diversity and believe in treating everyone equally to ensure that everyone has the same opportunities to grow, develop and progress in their careers.

An amazing new opportunity has become available to join the Portico front of house team as a Ground Floor Receptionist based at site consisting of 2 newly refurbished multi-occupied buildings in the Docklands area.

The small and friendly team based at the site are brand new to Portico, and we are looking for a confident and energetic Receptionist who will flourish in this trendy and fun environment. The buildings provide a new style of workplace environment – one where a sociable community of liked-minded people are complemented by an abundance of amenities.

Ultimately, the Receptionist will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors. Meeting, greeting, and welcoming them into the building, and dealing with any queries they may have along the way. But the perfect balance of social, admin and creative tasks as a Receptionist in this wonderful new team, means we really need someone with a great combination of skills in those areas.

The Reception team are the glue that binds the site’s community together. So, liaising with different in-house departments is essential, building excellent working relationships with them to ensure that the overall service provided on the site is nothing short of exceptional. There will be some daily administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, collecting data for reports and maintaining systems and databases. And then there is the creative side of the role, where the successful Receptionist will help to run the sites newsletters and social media channels.

This role would be fitting for someone who is a confident communicator with knowledge of exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills. An enthusiastic attitude, proactive mindset, and keen eye for detail are essential to prosper in this role.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer facing role, preferably within a corporate or hospitality setting.
