We are looking for a fantastically organised person, with a relentless entrepreneurial spirit for an amazing new opportunity as an Operations Manager at Portico.
People management, relationship building, commercially focused, and general operations guru are just a few qualities of our Operations Managers. The varied nature of this role is perfect for you if you thrive on everyday being different.
An integral part of the senior management team, our Operations Managers oversee our client location-based teams and drive the delivery of the exceptional front of house service expected at the sites. Along with an in-depth knowledge of front of house, building, and facilities operations, the successful candidate will need to have experience in Human Resources related people management duties.
The other side of the role is account management. The successful Operations Manager will use their excellent people skills to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of clients. They will have the confidence to make important strategic calls, as well as the prudence to manage budgets and ensure that SLAs are met.
This is a hybrid-working role, but our Operations Managers are expected to travel to client locations when required.
Salary: Competitive
- Experience of working in a similar role within facilities, building or front of house management is essential.
- Extensive experience of working with “high profile” clients is essential.
- Charismatic management skills with a proven history in developing and managing teams including senior managers.
- Thriving in client and team interactions.
- Proactive in creating solutions and promoting continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of financial budgeting, people management, and the creation of client reports.
- Excellent presentation skills.
